Laura E. King
Laura King is a graduate of Gonzaga University School of Law. Her drive and academic discipline helped her graduate with honors and helped her to land a selective internship in a civil litigation firm where she worked year-round throughout her second and third years. She still managed to participate in the Zag community by volunteering with a local low bono organization, attending basketball games, and participating in advocacy competitions. After graduation, she joined the competitive ranks of judicial law clerks at Division III of the Washington State Court of Appeals where she served in the chambers of the Honorable Kevin M. Korsmo. There, she authored numerous internal memoranda that were routinely relied on by the court as it rendered its opinions. After her clerkship, she began laying the groundwork for Ad Hoc and ultimately helped turn an innovative concept into reality. She is a true believer in Ad Hoc’s symbiosis of providing workflow support for law practices while offering a broad and rich experience to junior attorneys and is dedicated to seeing it grow. A Washington native, Laura’s heart remains there, but she resides in St. Louis, Missouri.
Laura excels at synthesizing complex law and delivering plain English prose in a persuasive package.
